#68 JACKSON Mississippi: Parking lot for Agriculture and Forestry Museum, boondock

For Jackson Mississippi we had a boondock Opportunity. I had located this site in the Days Inn directory. It took me 6 months to figure out how I really need to stop arriving to places in the dark but I had not learned yet because I was still doing it in Jackson. The GPS took us to the wrong location which is a drag but it did. We were trying to get to the agricultural Museum and the directory said you're more than welcome to park in the parking lot. We ended up on a reasonably a narrow residential neighborhood dirt road based on what the GPS told me to do. Honestly, I think I saw a sign saying no outlet and that's never good. I just stopped in the middle of the road and thankfully a neighbor kind of walked up asked me if he could be of any help. I asked if there was there anywhere to turn around because not in the right place and he agreed. I’m always blessed with the kindness of strangers. He said there was a open area down the road where I could turn around. He also told me how to get to the agriculture Museum.

I went on down there and I kept looking and I never saw anything. The next thing you know the road ended into a guy's house and he had a very large driveway. I just knocked on his door and told him that I was kind of in a bad way and could I back up into his driveway to turn around. He said that'll be fine just don't get stuck in a ditch. He was nice enough and it was pretty hard to do. I got turned around and we were heading towards the museum and for whatever reason the GPS knew what to do this time and we got there right away. Finally we did fine and had some pretty sound sleep for a Boondock.

The next morning at around 9 o'clock I guess my grace period had ended because a security guard had come by once or twice and kind of eyeballed us. I walked up to him and asked him about how long I could stay. He said it's about time to go now. They don't mind too much overnight but plenty of school kids and plenty of activity buses are on the way and it was about time for us to head out.

While we were I a large city I wanted to go to a T-Mobile store. They had made their unlimited binge on plan a little better. Prior to this we have been with Verizon for talking and a T-Mobile internet hotspot. It wasn't always all that good of a hotspot and I have been told that perhaps the phone would be a better streaming device than the hotspot for about the same amount of money. I ended up with a new plan and new phones with unlimited internet. In the past unlimited only applied to certain channels like Netflix and YouTube and Amazon but now unlimited meant everything unlimited. It was a good upgrade.
