I had told India I kept hearing just a little sound that kind of reminds me of snow tires on a car or maybe when your tires are getting a little old and it's starting to sing a little bit. I didn't like it and my lower nature decided that you just blow it off and not worry about it. I just thought that if there was a mechanic in town that can look at it I feel a lot better. I asked the owner of the campground if he can refer somebody and he gave me a number I called that guy on Monday morning and he said well he was too busy but he referred me to a guy in Mackinaw City. He seemed like a nice enough guy and he said I had a left front bearing wheel bearing that was shot he said that shouldn't really even be driving the truck at all. He estimated the total cost for this adventure was about $600. 200 Labor and 400 for the part. He used the handy de fib machine on me and then I told him to go ahead and do the job. i think he charged me about 200 too much for being in a remote area and being a tourist.
I'll try to find gratitude and everything so I could be angry that I have a front wheel bearing this replaced. I was Grateful that he put me right into his schedule and I got to thinking if I had not not listened to my spider sense I might've just driven the wheels off and they might've have fallen off at 60 miles an hour.
If we jackknifed the truck does several turns the camper flips 12 times and Savannah's inside, dead I assume . I just don't think there's any comparison in that horrible horrible thing and the fact that I had to pay the mechanic $600 to fix a wheel bearing. I just felt gratitude that we heard the noise we checked it out we got it fixed and we're safe oh that's my boring story.
