We no longer have an address to receive mail or packages so we had to figure all this out. We have forwarded all our mail to our neighbor and she will mail it to us wherever we are about every days. We found out all you do is have it addressed to Randall Cothren , US Post office , General delivery , any city USA.
When I get to that town I just walk in with a driver's license and they hand me my mail. So cool. The post office doesn't play nice with Amazon so In larger towns you can buy an item on an Amazon and pick it up at a automated locker. As you complete your purchase from Amazon and you click where to ship to you can add a locker. You pick a locker where you intend to be in a few days and that's where they will ship it to. They send you an Email and you point the email on your phone at the kiosk screen and the screen says Hello Randall. A door opens and your package is inside. So really cool.

I needed to receive some packages that I had sent to Ben’s house and I had forgot my laptop case and charger at Kens house Wilmington. We had some stuff from Amazon also. Ben's was going to mail them to us at ST Paul Minnesota. Figuring out to receive mail has been a learning experience.
As we left town we had set up a system where our mail is forwarded to our neighbor and she mails it to us once a month. I learned that when you're traveling you can receive anything from anybody at a post office. It’s called General delivery. We found out will Amazon cannot deliver to a post office. The post office doesn’t allow it. I found out they do have something call Amazon lockers which by the way is just too cool. You decide where you going to be next week, look in that city find out where an Amazon locker is and have you’re your order shipped to that Amazon locker. In our case it was at a Cub foods store. You just go by and enter the code into the kiosk and a little door opens in your package is in there. We did this for two deliveries in St Paul.
Skipping forward for a moment I would say that we ran into a dilemma at Yellowstone. I am always needing a part of some sort for the RV. In this case it was holding tank valves and cables. I wanted to make sure all these systems worked properly as I dump tanks every two or three days. Cody Wyoming is the “big city “ nearest to our camp at Yellowstone. It was 45 miles one way. We couldn’t send the packages to a post office, there are no Amazon lockers in the whole state of Wyoming. The solution was mailboxes etc.. They charge 4 dollars and it is well worth it.
