In Livingston kinda hung out a parking lot for a while for coffee and tea and stuff. We walked over to McDonalds for breakfast and spend a couple of hours there just having some WIFI, checking emails and such. We found a place for our next evening called Beaver tail State Park that was pretty close to Missoula. There was nothing reserve able but there are typically walk in only sites. I called to see if they had any sites but I only got voicemail. I left a message and just headed that way. Sometimes you just have to go forward as if you have a plan and see what happens when you get there. When we got there the campground host that wouldn’t return my calls was super friendly. He helped us find a place but then somebody had already taken but hadn’t told him or checked in. That was about the only site big enough for us. He liked me because I read and complied with the sign at the entrance that said you are supposed to stop in with the host before parking at a site. I did and they didn’t and we both talked trash about people like them who don’t place nice. Since we were Buds now, I asked him if I could use one of the vacant sites reserved for folks with wheelchair issues. He said that would be fine. I told him if somebody handicapped came and needed the site I would move. He said it’s all good and after 5pm or so the sites kinda lose their ADA status because people with disabilities don’t typically show up at dusk. They plan their days well and are usually settled in at noon wherever they camp. Initially we were just going to rest and get back on the road the next day. We had been off grid for over 2 weeks. This place had water, sewer, 50 amps and T mobile unlimited binge on streaming. We decide to stay two nights to renew and bathe in the internet.
