This tree was in our campsite and it seemed to be asking me something

We had gone north about 1 hour and came to the next camp area called Hoh Rain forest.

We didn't know exactly where we were going to stay so I had the idea of driving in on the main road aways and disconnecting the rig on one of the larger gravel areas. I figured we would just go looking around and just the truck. We didn't go too far until we saw something called Mary Peterson camping area and it wasn't very big with no facilities. There might have been about 10 camp sites mostly for smaller maybe RVs. We kind of liked the one called number 9 and went ahead and decided to find out how to secure it. We went up to the corner store not too far away and asked. It said you needed discovery pass to camp here. She said that you'd have to drive up to Forks, 20 miles away, to buy one of those. A discover pass gives you access to all the Washington state facilities for a year for $35 and so for our purposes he gave us the right to camp up to 7 nights there for one day it serviced out about $11 a night. We used that same pass a lot in Washington state for the next couple of weeks

We settled in and the next day we went on a nice hike up in the Hoh rain forest. We did a loop that was the mile or two and it was just as pretty as can be and I took lots of pictures

.

The water in this stream seemed crystal clear

I think this will make me a nice tree for the night
