#57 Grants , New Mexico ; Blue Lake State Park

Our next stop was Bluewater State Park near Grants New Mexico. We found this to be a pretty little Oasis out in almost a desert. We stayed there and it was pretty little place they had a dam and it was just a nice little area. The camp host was very friendly. One thing I noted was once you left the interstate and headed to the park it was still a way off. We went down a cat path of a road about 6 miles till we got to the park. At 60 mph this only takes a minute but I was white knuckling it at like 25 mph, so it seemed like an eternity. Without the camper no big deal, with the RV kind of scary. Pretty uneventful just a place to rest.
