Our next stop was about 45 minutes away from going towards Wilmington. It was called Hagan Stone State Park. It was a full hookup for maybe 20 bucks which is good, especially in the winter when you want to stay warm. We had stayed there years before in a little pop-up camper and I remember it well because we were in a severe thunderstorm. Any storm with that much thunder and lightning is hard but It seems a lot scarier in a tiny pop. It's rural and it's a little nice place to visit when you're in Greensboro.
