We left Cheryl’s house and headed down to Wilmington to pick up Savannah. When we got close to Wilmington, we really couldn't think of a good place to stay. I remembered some friends that live out in Rocky Point and at the very end of their entrance road it's just as quiet as it can be. I kind of thought nobody would much mind if we parked there for the night and so we did and it worked fine. The next morning, I left for a little while because we didn't really want people to notice the RV. I wanted to weigh the RV and make sure it wasn't too heavy so I went by the landfill transfer station in Hampstead as they have an accurate scale. I parked the RV at Lowes during the day. The fellow named Tom Nugent owns a house on the road where we were boondocking needed some work done on his boat. He needed to remove the water and fill it with air pressure so it wouldn't freeze in the winter and I agreed to do it. Later in the day towards dusk we went back down at the end of the road boondock. I guess that didn't work well because it’s hard to get away with shady behavior two nights in a row. We got somebody's attention and next thing you know the sheriff is there asking questions. We stayed that night but hit the next morning. It was time to go as the neighborhood had become tired of us being there.
