#121 Went by to see the Alamo in San Antonio

The last time that we were in the Hill Country back in the fall it just didn't seem like there was enough time to go to the Alamo

We certainly intended to this time and so we did and we found out there's no parking near the Alamo. We had to go to Walmart or a vacant lot or something and I did that but the vacant lot I picked was unfriendly. When we returned I saw they had given me a parking ticket. We dropped the RV at the vacant lot and took the truck on towards the Alamo. We spent a few hours at the Alamo and learned a lot about history. The night before I intentionally downloaded a movie from Amazon because I wanted Savannah to know more about it. We watched the 2010 version or whatever and she liked the movie. The next day we went to see all the history she saw in the movie. We went to where they were standing and she got to know the characters she had seen in the movie. I got to stand where they stood. We learned a lot and she really enjoyed it and we had a great time but then we headed on back to the RV and took off.

It was a cool color but I never paid it
