We went north up the California coastline kind of following the Hwy. 1 North of San Francisco. Almost immediately within 10 or 20 miles and it's just a very woodsy wonderful place.

We settled in and went on a car tour of the rolling hills near San Francisco but not too near the city.

We left Olema and drove along the California coast and went to a place called Mount Tamalpais.

Because it was an area of San Francisco I got to tell you some of the houses were modest it was probably tons of money to own or rent a house there.

I took some pretty cool pictures from a summit looking out over the ocean. It was all pretty but there wasn't any specific thing that was amazing.

We just wanted to experience it so we did our two nights at Olema.

We went into San Francisco to eat right on the Waterfront District. The name of the restaurants was pretty famous Pier 17 or something like that.

Because we were right there, we had to go to the San Francisco National Park Lookout. It's basically up on the hill you park at a pull-out and have a good place to take Iconic pictures of the bay bridge. No visitor center or anything just a parking lot but it was still nice.
