I found a nice little Fairgrounds at Dickinson Michigan. Norway was the actual name of the small town.

It was a really big field and pretty and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were able to see where they had stalls for horses and cows and all that stuff for the state fair. It was just a really pretty place. The guy that helped get settled reminded me that it's pretty right now but we're getting kind of getting closer to closing. He said the weather would be very Michigan soon. Today in Norway the weather was like 78° but he reminded me that with the fall coming they're going to have to turn off the water in a week or two.

I had been experimenting with heating my new tub with an electric water heater element by suspending it from the ceiling having the element in the water but being careful not to short it out. It did look like a Frankenstein apparatus and believe me, you didn't want to go anywhere near it or you can get electrocuted. Remember it was just an experiment to see if it could heat the tub. I also remember back in Copper Falls I had picked up a package by amazon. It was a 12-volt water pump used to circulate hot water in solar systems. I had my 120 volt 2000 watt water heater elements and I have done one test. It took a little effort to figure out the plumbing. I wanted to be sure it never went dry. I did this by cutting a tee into the jacuzzi pipe low enough to where it would never lose its prime.

With a little trial and error I figured out how to get the circulation loop working and now with the initial test at I could truly heat the water. I was ready to assemble something that was a Rube Goldberg-looking thing.

I discovered that the water heater elements screwed into a 1inch NPT female. I created a 1 ft long 11/2-inch galvanized nipple with several tees in it to where I could allow water in and hot water to flow out. I screwed a water heater element in both ends at 2000 watts each.

Even though they're 120 volts which makes him a little slower than 240 v. The elements did work and it got quite hot and 4000 watts is nothing to sneeze at.

I tested it for the first time it was beyond cool it worked fabulously. I fill the tub with cold water and a 12 v pump starts circulating the water from the front of the tub through the apparatus and returning it to the rear of the tub. It took about an hour and a half to get hot water. I mean real hot like a hundred and ten degrees.

Another very interesting thing happened and I have the pictures to prove it. India and I went into town to have some dinner and we went to have Thai food. I have occasionally reacted to some oily fish types. I've never really nailed down exactly what it is. In my twenties eating Bluefish would make me kind of have hives and my face would puff up a little bit.

In my past is never been serious but it's happens maybe once every 5 years.

I have never figured out exactly what it was that I ate that night but later on when we went back, I felt just a little bit puffy like that typical allergic reaction to something that I ate.

I felt a little itchy when we go home. By the next morning, I knew that something was wrong when looked in the mirror. I took several pictures and I swear my face looked twice as big as usual.

My eyes are almost shut. Anyway, the pictures speak for themselves. I looked weird and eventually, the swelling did come down in about twenty-four hours. I'll be the first to tell you it was strange and it hasn't happened before or after.

I have since had an allergy test done and they said I'm allergic to everything. That means all the tree pollens and all that kind of stuff. They didn’t mention fish so who knows.
