We were heading towards Nova Scotia and we had got some information from Tommye, India's sister about some folks that lived up this way. They were called the cousins. There is a long story about how India’s Mother didn’t know she had relatives in Canada. When she found out she went to visit and learned all about a past that she knew nothing of until she was in her mid-60s.
The cousins we're Mary and Owen Halfpenny in Mulgrave Nova Scotia.
We could have left Canada and gone to Maine at this point but since Tommye mentioned it and it seemed interesting why not see the cousins I had even thought about wouldn’t it be nice to go to Nova Scotia long before this, a year prior. India's roots meaning grandparents and great-grandparents were from Nova Scotia so it's nice to visit that part of one's history.
We needed a new place 2 hours away and we found Fairgrounds in Truro.
I didn't know it when I first signed up but it was also a race track for horses. People could come here and bet on horses and all that kind of fun stuff. They had a fairground where we could stay for like 20 bucks a night.
We had about the whole place to ourselves maybe one other rig.
We stayed for two nights I got some pretty sunsets. I also ended up with a really pretty rainbow picture out of the front windshield of our truck.

We left Truro and we were getting fairly close to the Halfpenny home in Mulgrave. I noticed that if I went a little bit further out of our way, we could go to just about the very tip of Nova Scotia. There we can see the home and museum of Alexander Graham Bell. I mean you just have to do that.
