Beginning our Trek home to arrive at Jordan lake by the 16 to meet Erin the park ranger. When we left Hudson we had decided that we did not want to experience a repeat of Hudson in 2019, getting, stuck at a low rent trailer park with the Pitbull dog moaning we just didn't want that to happen anymore.
We've had a really nice time down at Tarpon Springs visiting each Sunday at the UU church and then after that we have a lunch in Lollygag and get back to Hudson around 3.
The Sunday before we left I talked to the minister and said you know when we leave Hudson we're going to Hillsborough River I just wondered if we might could use the church's parking lot for one night just to kind of break up the trip a little bit.
He said he didn't see any reason why not just be careful because it is a construction site and that we don't want to pick up a nail but he didn't mind.
I should definitely do a Blog about Tarpon Springs they had a sinkhole about 3 years ago or 4 years ago and had some analysis done decided that they were capable of winning Insurance claim and as best as I can tell it took like all these years just to get a permit to start work
Work had just begun in Earnest has we had been visiting them and I believe it'll take about a year to be ready to move into their former sanctuary.
All of the visits we have had with them were at a parks and recreation building in Tarpon Springs.
Well we took him up on the invite and we actually found ourselves in the somewhat narrow streets of Tarpon Springs near the church and it became obvious that it was unbelievably tight to even consider being in the parking lot and that he had been just well-intentioned but there was no way that was going to happen so we didn't spend too long thinking about it and went over to the Walmart for the night true our first stop would be Hillsborough River State Park but on the way we had to hit a Walmart for the night.
Some people said that if you want this to go well you better make your reservations almost a year ahead. We knew there were a number of Florida state parks that we could check out but it's so much nicer to look at the parts and decide where would I want to stay. That would be our goal over the next week to tour a number of parks so I can pick our spots for next year. We went to Hillsborough State Park first it would be considered near Tampa about a half an hour or so to the east. They're close enough to be to near the city but far enough to where you feel like you're in a wilderness.

It’s a pretty neat place to find yourself so we rode through stayed for two nights and we decided that if possible, site 25 looks pretty good and maybe the one that's right by the canoe launch will be good. As it turns out only was it not available but a little cramped for our RV. We didn't do a lot of cultural interesting things that any of these at any of these parks we were just kind of checking it out.
