#253 Alfalfa River state park , Lithia Florida

Alafia River State Park was one of those that was just ok with full sun. It didn’t seem like a place we would want to spend 14 days. We later found out there are some great trails and water. The negative was just no shade at the RV area. Great for a few nights. We enjoyed seeing some cool manmade osprey nests on the towers of high voltage lines.

This Osprey behavior is why they are offering manmade alternatives. It dangerous for the birds and tends to short out the lines which is hard on the power company.
