Lake Louisa was a nice enough place. Most all the sites are easy to get into so anyone would be fine. I was looking for a specific site that if chosen for the 14 days we could offer Bert a place to play and explore a little bit. I would deny saying this if interrogated but I was also looking for a site that would be conducive to releasing a little gray water under a group of trees and shrubs.
The site I wrote down we were able to reserve. We went down the lake and some guy was fishing and saw the warning signs for alligators are sometimes or around and I was aware of that.
It was a very well-kept place down a long and winding road about a mile or two before you even got to a campground. They had a lot of trails that we looked forward to exploring. We decided this would be a nice place to spend 14 days next winter.

When I went to the lake just to check things out, I noticed some mighty pretty floating flowers and flowers were blooming by the edge. I took a little time getting some nice close-up shots of them.

As we were approaching the site to set up the camper a large turtle was crossing the road. He reminded me of a Bugs Bunny cartoon with the tortoise and the hare fable. The turtle seemed to be saying steady as she goes I get there when I get there.
