#283 Bens Bus Jordan Lake

We found the rig Cheryl discovered with the bath tub at Campers world in Raliegh. We went by to take a physical look at the one they had on display. It was 2019 and we loved it immediately. We started feeling completely comfortable with getting something new and it all seemed so amazing.

I searched a little further online and we found one that was 1-year old that was identical for 60,000 in Kentucky.

With the information we gathered in Raliegh we decided to drive to Kentucky and buy it. I talked to the salesman and put down $1,000 over the phone and went to go get it. Soon we would be off to Kentucky to get the new RV.

Went by Jordan for a few days just to have one last visit with Ben and his bus

There’s not a lot to say here I just went by Ben's bus and try to do a few little things. I swapped refrigerators with him as we had just bought a new one. I saw no reason to allow this brand new refrigerator to be lost as the RV is left at a salvage yard. Also, we had borrowed his gas heater because ours was broken to use on fall excursion. We switched those appliances out and a few wiring details. It was a pretty quick visit just a few days.
