This one was pretty cool because I wasn't sure what the name means but I was pretty sure it's Native American. I looked it up and it is from the Creek people. The fella that the main gate said that there were a few near the beginning and one or two others so he let me look at it and I picked went had a really nice view of the lake.
The only negative was how incredibly unlevel it was and I figured well so what but it did take quite a while to get leveled up.

I had to use a whole bunch of my yellow stacking blocks to bring one side of the RV about a foot or so off the ground.
It was also one of these pull-throughs that had a fairly sharp be tight turn which is really stupid because it makes it really hard to deal with the RV a big rig so I ended up having a hard time getting that done and I pulled forward past it and back in.
Parking took half an hour or more and then set up but I believe I have been merciful very early on and let Bert out he appreciated that.
At this location a lot of what we did with just sit and gawk at the lake and it was really pretty. Bert and I walked down to the lake sometimes and if I take it easy with him, he'll follow me like a puppy dog.
I went into town to get some propane thinking we were going to run out but we didn't really need it as bad as I thought because I remember it lasted another week before it ran out.
This was a one-night stop and other than having to just big Bert to come back to the RV by force the next day it was very difficult to convince him to get back in the rig because he doesn't like to leave.
I went down to the lake where he was hanging out and just kind of hung out with him and sort of got him to follow me back up the hill but then about halfway there he just refused to go any further. I knew we had to leave so I had to pick him up and there's nothing great about an unhappy cat who doesn't want to be picked up. I got him in the rig and we were able to leave.
I think Bert likes her lifestyle but he doesn't like moving down the highway that much. It's kind of a drag for him and when we doing it every day or every other day. It's even worse so if we make certain moves that say we're getting ready to pack up so he'll run off in the woods and hide. He used to never do this but once or twice. Now he's doing it about every time.
We've sort of got to the point now to where we don't let him go out after his 6 a.m. breakfast. We just lock him in the RV and we don't let him go outdoors because if we do, he won't come back. If we do let him go out, we can't make any moves like sliding in putting furniture away, bringing the awnings or anything that would let him know we're leaving.
I do feel sorry for him but we can't very well leave him in these places so we're learning how to do it. I've also been thinking about getting a cat tracking collar but that needs to happen but hasn't happened.
Because of not being able to find him sometimes we have found him within 25 or 30 ft of the rig hunkered down so getting the cat tracker is going to be a pretty big deal. He's done this to me about 10 times and sometimes it gets really scary because we can't find him.
You can get mad but he's like a little kid you don't hate your kid you just wish they would behave.
I seem to remember going into town to go to a local restaurant but that was about the extent of our excitement for this stop.
