Ben's ongoing Skoolie project

While we were at Falls lake I worked on Ben's busted water heater from a winter freeze. Various bus projects like converting his dryer to 120 volts were also on the list.

I took it apart, soldered the leaks, and put it all back together and it worked great. That felt good.

While we were at Falls Lake I knew I had at least one more visit to Wilmington so I went down and went through everything in the garage. I started to just set stuff out by the road and people could come to pick it up and put in a day. I put a kayak and a hobby horse that was up in the attic all out there. Eventually, it became obvious that with all of my best intentions anything that was left would have to be hauled off to the dump, or maybe I would call some company like 1-800 got junk. I did call and I didn’t realize they were so expensive. I decided just to get Dominic to do it. I decided to donate all of the ladders, a new water pump, and any shovels and garden tools to Marcus at the eco-village if they wanted it. They should have the trailer too so I loaded all this up and did the last little bit of work to the garage before it could be sold.

I capped off a sewer line and water line and PEX I had used for the RV.

It looks worse than it was. The water table is near the surface and as I was digging up the sewer line there was a lot of groundwater filling my hole. When I left it this last time everything was going to be hauled off to the dump. I tied all of his stuff to the trailer and headed back towards Liberty at Calvin's house. I told him it would only be there for a month. I would eventually take it to Marcus, meeting halfway somewhere near Augusta. After liberty I went to Falls Lake and was back home with India but what a long day.

I had made some plans to go to Tanglewood on the 17th because in my mind Thanksgiving is on the 23rd.

I don't know exactly how I got so mixed up but somehow, I ended up reserving a spot for like two weeks prior to Thanksgiving and that's a lot actually. I reworked the reservation and went on down to Liberty.

We visited Ben for two weeks just to kind of see if I could be helpful and then I went on down to Calvin's in liberty NC
