#344 Huguenot Memorial Park, Jacksonville, FL

We didn't know the first thing about this park but it seemed ok except that it was like $40. I think it's because people think Jacksonville Florida is so cool. I wasn't that blown away. I thought it was oceanfront but it was more like just an inlet and the bigger problem was, I didn't know at check was it had electricity only, no water. Not many amenities for the money. It was windy and lots of sand spurs and then the worst possible thing they told me is that my cat cannot be outdoors.

I told Bert this and I thought he was gonna die. I was like if Bert can't go outside what would be the fun of that. We went inland a bit and found a cool Mom and Pop seafood place and enjoyed a nice dinner with a water view. We had made a reservation for two days or something but because it wasn’t all that and Bert was miserable we just let it go and left a day early.

Fun for the college crowd but not for us
