By the time we left Knoxville it was kind of getting on towards the evening and nobody plans it that way but they didn't finish the truck until 5:00 or so and then we had to hook up and leave turning around the car It was just quite a lot so it was getting on towards almost dark before we left All I knew was I really wanted to get down the road and I wanted to stay in the Ashville but mainly we just had to get out of town We was just so tired of being stranded.
Can't say enough how bad it sucks to have paid $3,000 for him Rebuild transmission in the Key West and then a year and a quarter later we're paying $4,000 for a new transmission He was just awful.
I didn't know how far I would get but I thought maybe we can find a Boondock somewhere near Asheville and we were just about to think why not a rest stop.
.
I didn't know how far I would get but I knew I wasn't going to get to Winston-Salem Asheville is about halfway so we decided just to take this rest stop got in there got cozy We slid out just the bedroom only and slept like a baby. The next morning, we left fairly early and nobody minded.
This would mark the end of about a week and a half of no fun whatsoever with a truck with a new transmission.
I still wasn't ready to consider is it every time to give up but I'm sure this was part of the eventual decision to give up on the truck.
