It's kind of hard to say much of anything about the 4th and Tanglewood in that we were mostly just glad to finally be in Winston. Originally, we were going to North Carolina in a roundabout way via the Mississippi Delta Blues country to see my sister who was going to be recovering from a knee surgery. Being delayed for over a week kind of really messed up the opportunity to help as she was already pretty much on her feet by then. We were in one site for only the 4th. We moved the next day just across the street. After we had set up Bert our cat and decided to run under somebody's RV and hide. We were concerned that he might’ve jumped into one of their compartments and had to be sure. I went up to knock on the door but didn’t find anyone home. Soon some people came walking up the road and said may I help you because they didn't much like us snooping around their unit. As I walked towards her to introduce myself, she backed up as if to say oh my God you've got the plague. Well, I'm all about being careful because we are all living in pandemic mode, but it just seemed like she was awfully scared. From a good bit of distance like 10 feet, I said hi I'm sorry to bother you but my idiot cat ran under your RV and I would just wanted to make sure that if you all are leaving today could we be sure he didn't crawl in your compartment. he said no compartments have been opened so I don't think it's a problem. Eventually, I saw him laying under their rig but he didn't want to come when I called.

Bert can be pretty weird sometimes and he doesn't really like change so If he thinks we're going to close him back up and move again for two hours down the highway he might just hide from us. That's exactly what he wanted to do that day and after a while, I gave up on calling him. He wouldn't come towards me. He would come near sometimes and then bolt back under their RV. All I could do is just give up and wait him out. I guess sooner or later he got hungry enough because he came back over our way and got something to eat and everything was fine after that.

We would stay at Tanglewood for about a week visiting with my sister and hanging out. We don't accomplish a whole lot, we just enjoy her company.

On one of our hikes by the Yadkin River we saw these water storage trucks and I thought it was interesting. Mobile water on demand for a price.
