We found a federal place in near Junction City and you know that's great for us. it's a beautiful site but a half hour from anything.

We went into town about 20 minutes and found the coolest restaurant ever

We didn't know exactly what to expect It was about a 10 -12 miles drive to get there from the highway. We finally got there and I was really pretty. There were a lot of RV sites right on the water. We were able to get one that was on a peninsula so we're tucked away back into the water. We had a lot of privacy.

I had no problems at all and then on the weekends, it turns out there were some really loud people. It's probably Saturday night I couldn't figure them out. I mean I even got out and walked around to try to see where the noise was coming from. There was a car near a boat ramp competing with some friends on a boat on who had the loudest sound after 10 pm
Let's just say I thought they sucked and I was about to the point of calling the park ranger or the host This really needs to stop as it was about 10:00 pm or more. Not too much later it got quiet. Maybe somebody else spoke to them but I was grateful either way. That was the only negative of our experience.
I was riding around looking to kind of scope out a nice place to go for a walk and I ran into a big field that was just a sea of yellow flowers. I love taking pictures of stuff like that and there was a little sunset going on so that was beautiful.
We went into town one evening to get some dinner and we didn't really know where to go so we went to the coolest little Caribbean place. They didn't use menus just a chalkboard with the entrée listed. Everything's $14 no matter what. I had some goat and rice it was so good. It seemed to be the most traditional Jamaican kind of food you could ask for. I actually thought it was really cool to have such a hip place in such a square town. That was about it for us there but it was a great place
