#375 4 Eagle Ranch , Wolcott, CO

We left Denver and it was 2 hours or so to 4 eagle Ranch. We were glad to have found it. There are only so many places to RV that had any availability. It was an interesting little place. They know how to make money in that if you give people opportunities, they will give you money.

Just as we were getting close, I noticed several sculptures made of dead wood. It was so cool.

It's a pretty sprawling ranch with horseback riding and all that sort of things. They had various kinds of lodging available. They have RV sites where you can park, tiny houses that are made out of shipping containers.

There were quite a few of those down in the bottom part where the creek is. Way up on the hill they have yurts and stuff like that. It's obvious that they're when busy they're making tons of money. It's probably $150 tonight for the yurts alone. They had a bouncy thing where you could leap high on a bungee.

We had paid for 3 days and there was no water so we had to fill our tanks so that was a little bit of a concern as we do need water. We went hiking after we settled in what I'm guessing and it was just the best temperature ever you know like 75° with a breeze.

We hiked up to the top of the hill where the tents were and I suggested we take this shortcut back but it was strenuous

It was really pretty and we had a great day. Later that evening we heard a very strange forecast. The next day it was going to be snowing and 2 days ago it was 100 degrees. Because the RV is so new to me and all I didn't want to be driving in the Rocky Mountains in the snow. I asked if I can leave there early and they honored that without any kind of a penalty which I thought was very nice of them.

Sometimes if we wont give Bert more wet food or treats he just solves it himself
