Our next real stop would be Bryce Canyon. We were there with the kids for 3 nights 10 years ago. It was a bit of a haul to do on one day so we stopped in Hatch Utah. It was a little pricey but it was right on the river. For one night I think it was like 45 or $50 which is beyond my comfort but you can't have everything. After all that boondocking, we needed a little civilization even for a night.

The site was beautiful we bumped into a guy who was a fisherman and he said there were fish to be had in the river. He was a pleasure to talk to and just a really neat guy. As he walked away I took a picture of him walking off into the sunset I thought that was kind of right out of a movie scene.

It was nice having water, electricity, and a nice hot bath for me. We would head out the next morning for Bryce so it was just an oasis really.
